The app
meckey is a macOS menu-bar and Dock application that plays a sound effect for each keypress. It is provided by Deepak Marathe, trading as dfacto.ai, India.
Licence
A single meckey purchase (Pro or Studio) grants a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to run meckey on the number of machines stated for that tier, for as long as macOS continues to run the version you purchased. There is no subscription and no recurring charge.
Sound packs
Bundled sound packs are distributed under the licence stated in that pack's own LICENSE file (CC0, CC-BY or MIT), or are our own recordings. Packs you import yourself remain under whatever licence you obtained them under — meckey does not grant rights to third-party audio.
No warranty
meckey is provided "as is", without warranty of any kind, express or implied, to the maximum extent permitted by law.
Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Deepak Marathe is not liable for any indirect, incidental or consequential damages arising from use of meckey.

These terms may be updated from time to time; the current version is always the one published on this page.
